Carolyn wore many hats in her professional life, each reflecting her versatility, talent, and dedication. She served as Operations Coordinator at Accounting & More Services, bringing organization and care to every project she handled.

Her passion for the arts found its fullest expression in her role as a Dance Teacher and Choreographer at More Than Music, where she inspired students to find joy and confidence through movement.

She also contributed her skills as a Receptionist and Office Coordinator at Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts Miami College, supporting an environment where creativity could thrive.

Earlier in her career, Carolyn worked with Gates Interamerica, gaining valuable experience and building relationships that would enrich her personal and professional journey.

She was a proud alumna of Miami Springs High School, where she attended in 2006, and her roots ran deep in Florida—born in Hialeah Gardens, she eventually made Orlando her home.

On September 10, 2016, Carolyn married the love of her life, Luis “Luigi” Lopez. Together, they built a marriage grounded in love, mutual respect, and shared dreams.

Their life was further brightened by the arrival of their beloved daughter, Rosemarie—a child who brought endless joy to Carolyn and who will forever carry her mother’s legacy in her heart. Carolyn’s role as a wife and mother was the center of her world; her family was her greatest source of pride and happiness.

The memories shared by those who loved her are filled with moments of laughter, encouragement, and connection. One close friend shared, “I am still shocked, sad, and can’t believe she is really gone! Carolyn had the best smile, best laugh, and gave the best hugs I will never forget. I remember the day she told me she was pregnant and the day I got to meet sweet Rosemarie.

Carolyn, you are a bright light that will always shine. You were definitely one of the good people out there and I will miss you! Her family will always have a home at Burn Celebration. Until we meet again, sweet friend.”

Carolyn’s influence reached far beyond the dance floor. She inspired creativity, nurtured talent, and built lasting friendships in every corner of her life. Her students remember her as a mentor who believed in them, pushed them to be their best, and celebrated every step of their growth.

Her colleagues recall her professionalism, warmth, and ability to bring people together. Her sudden passing has left an immeasurable void, but her memory will live on through the countless lives she touched.
